Dear Families,

On behalf of Swinburne Community Childcare Co-Op (SCCC), the parent management committee and administrative staff, we are writing to share with you a difficult decision that will impact parents, children and staff.

BACKGROUND

SCCC has had a long standing partnership with Swinburne University, spanning nearly fifty years. Over the past half-century, we did demonstrated our commitment to offering high quality and meaningful education and care for children of thousands of Swinburne staff and students. As a not-for-profit, in order to offer the highest quality care at the lowest cost to our community.

ANNOUNCEMENT 

The management committee has reviewed available options, and considering all factors, have made the difficult decision to close the Swinburne Community Childcare Co-Op permanently. The final day of operations will be on Thursday 22nd December at 2.30pm.

We acknowledge this is shocking news and a devastating outcome for all in our community.
